Million Mums and Sprout Aid !!
I just wanted to let you know about a few Christmas activities from the Million Mums team:
Downing Tweet
As you may have heard from all my blogs, Friday 4th December was a very special night: Sarah Brown, wife of the Prime Minister, held the first ‘Downing Tweet Christmas party’ at Number 10.
The Global Patron of The White Ribbon Alliance has been supporting Million Mums on Twitter over the past year, and used this party to invite people from all over the UK - and Twitter - to come together and raise awareness about Million Mums.
Guests at the event were entertained by Beverly Knight singing under the Christmas Tree, and were encouraged to tweet about Million Mums from a specially created “Tweetzone” - pictures can be found at www.millionmums.org, and here are some our favourite quotes from the evening

Sprout Aid
This Christmas, Dave Buonaguidi, from the amazing creative team at Karmarama is SproutAid is doing something I'm sure his family will regret ! :)
The concept is simple: for every £1 donated, Dave has to eat a sprout over the festive period, with all donations going to the White Ribbon Alliance.
So far, Dave has eaten a total 387 sprouts with many more to go. You can check out his progress, the latest sprout recipes and donate more sprouts here - http://www.karmarama.com/sproutaid/
